GA Chauffeur Services is responsible for the personal information you provide when enquiring about or arranging a journey. Our business and contact details appear below.
Information you provide
Our enquiry and booking forms ask for your name, email address, telephone number and relevant journey details, such as pickup, destination, date, time, vehicle preference, passenger and luggage counts, special requests and any message you choose to include. Avoid including sensitive information unless it is needed to discuss your travel requirements.
How the website forms work
The forms send your details through our email delivery provider, Resend, to enquiries@gachauffeurs.co.uk. A successful submission is a request, not a confirmed booking. Booking details are also stored securely on our hosting platform so we can review the request and send you a confirmation email after approving the arrangements and final price. Private review links expire after 30 days. Website review records are removed after 90 days during routine processing; business email and accounting records have their own retention periods. If online delivery is unavailable, the form may offer to prepare an email in your own email application for you to review and send. Information entered into the journey planner may also appear in the booking or enquiry page URL when you follow its links.
Why information is used
We use enquiry and journey information to answer requests, prepare quotes, arrange and deliver bookings, communicate with you and manage related payments and records. The relevant grounds are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a booking contract, meeting legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and administering the service.
Maps and website delivery
The journey planner and booking form load Google Maps for address suggestions, with route previews in the planner. Google receives technical connection information, and addresses you enter or select may be sent to Google to provide those features. When property lookup is available, the postcode you submit is sent through our server to Ideal Postcodes to retrieve individual property addresses. Sharing and keeping information
Providing a booked journey may require sharing relevant collection and journey details with the chauffeur. Email, hosting and other service providers process information when supplying their services. Records may also be disclosed where required by law. Enquiry and booking records are kept for the time needed to deal with the request, administer the journey and meet applicable accounting or legal requirements; contact us for details relating to your records.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Contact us to make a request or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
